The Centre now offers two main awareness and training opportunites, which are held throughout the year and are open to all.
Issues Concerning Belief, Faith and Culture in the Work Place and in the Community
The Course
A half-day or full day course of awareness raising providing opportunities to:
Raise awareness and deepen understanding of a range of issues concerning belief, faith and culture in the work place, including legislation.
Increase sensitivity and understanding of people coming from a range of faith and/or cultural backgrounds.
Meet people from local faith communities.
Look at practical ways of promoting awareness and understanding within the organisation.
Promoting and Facilitating Multifaith and Interfaith Understanding and Dialogue
This full day builds on the course above and is for those who are grappling with these challenges as part of their work and responsibility. The day consists of small and whole group exercises with discussion with some formal presentations exploring:
1. Self-awareness and our own faith perspectives.
2. Interfaith guildlines and practices.
3. The role and skills of the facilitator.
4. Resources to support change.
Courses can be designed to meet the particular needs of employers and employees in industry, business and commerce; these have been very successful within educational, healthcare and adult guidance settings.
Ideally, courses run with groups of between 10-16 participants and are led by the Director of the Centre, Jonathan Marshall.

As expertise and widespread support for the work increases, the Centre is regularly consulted by a variety internal and external agencies, seeking answers to questions or wanting input or guidance regarding policies, training or conferences.
