The Bull Run Rally

You are invited to a buffet lunch on 22nd May 2011 starting at 11.30 am to support an international car rally known as the Bull Run Car Rally. Drivers and their passengers will be starting their ‘round the countries’ rally from Plymouth Synagogue.

Do come. Please ring Anna on 01822 614203 or 07818 094 894 to say you'll be there.

15 cars and 32 people will be arriving from America, Ireland, Switzerland, France, Guernsey and across the UK. I believe some of the cars, including the American cars, are well worth seeing.

They will leave about 1.30 pm for the Brittany Ferry Port as Judi Spiers of BBC Radio Devon waves them off.

The circular rally will cover Spain,Toledo, Cordova, Marbella, Gibraltar, Gerez Formula 1 racing circuit, Seville, Portugal, Evora, Viseu, Valladolid, then back to Portsmouth via the Santander ferry, IN ELEVEN DAYS!!

Details of the trip are on their website www.formulawonevents.com so look for The Bull Run, all proceeds are for charity - The Israel Youth Award being the main beneficiary and it's possible that we will get some of the proceeds.

Parking will be available for 100 cars at the magistrates court car park and the car park next to the Shul free of charge.

Lunch in the vestry will be followed by a service at approx 12.15 pm, conducted by their own Chazan, Robert Brody plus a brief account of the historic Synagogue.

It would be good to see you there.
