Jonathan Marshall is Director of the Plymouth Centre for Faiths and Cultural Diversity, a charity grounded on interfaith principles he helped found ten years ago and for which he was recently honoured with an MBE. Jonathan leads regular training days and sessions for professional groups seeking better understanding around Belief, Faith and Culture. He is also the RE Adviser for Plymouth Schools, Buddhist representative for Devon SACRE and member of AREIAC. Over the past year he took an active role as a member of the Plymouth Prevent Group being responsible for the planning and delivery of ten training days to staff from all sectors. He has been a Buddhist for over thirty-five years having lived and studied in India during the early 1970’s. Married with five children he lives on the edge of Dartmoor.
