Farewell from Harun

I have been in England for three weeks to study and work. It’s my first time in the UK and it was for me very different. But the people in Plymouth are very helpful and very friendly. In my first week in Plymouth I have take an English course at the Tell-us school. It was very good for me to understand the people here in England because they speak very quickly for me.

In my last two weeks I have worked for Plymouth Centre for Faiths and Cultural Diversity and learned a lot of English. I received a very warm welcome to the Centre. I have learned to read and write English very well and also understanding English because one of my favourite tasks in the Centre was lots of typing.

In the first time it was very different for my hearing and speaking all day English. But in my last days it was very interesting to learn more and more English. I also visit with Bev two Primary schools. It was very interesting for me to see the English school system and organisation.

I have liked my work placement in the Centre to work there. My boss and also all people in the Office were to me very friendly and they were very lucky with me. When I arrive back to Germany I wouldn’t forget and miss the time in the Centre. I would like tell everything my parents and my teachers. If I arrive next time to England I would like visit Plymouth and also the Plymouth Centre for Faiths and Cultural Diversity. Thank you for helping and for the chance that you give me to work with you.

Best Wishes,
Harun
