Culture Speakers

Over 60 different first languages are spoken in Plymouth today. With the increasing multicultural nature of the city we are able to provide speakers from a number of different cultures:

  • Indian culture (music, dance and cookery)
  • Japanese culture (origami, flower arranging, language)
  • African culture (story telling, hair braiding, basket weaving, cookery)
  • African drumming (can include dance)
  • Belly dancing
  • Yoga
  • Circle dancing

We currently have a number of new Speakers in training so watch this space for updates!
