Become a 'Friend of PCFCD'

Dear friends

First of all we would like to say a big THANK YOU to all the people who currently make a subscription for the Centre Newsletter and also support us with their time as volunteers and with other donations (large and small). In the current climate everyone is looking to steward their resources wisely and many of the sources of income we have previously relied on are being reduced. As a registered charity, grants and donations are a vital way of funding the Centre’s important work.

We continue to run a programme of in-house events, nearly all of which are free of charge (although we do invite people to support these events with a donation on the day) and we rely on the newsletter and website to tell people about these events and our work in general. In the past, subscriptions for the newsletter have been set at £7 waged, £5 unwaged and £10 for organisations and this has remained virtually unchanged for a number of years.

We know that many people who receive our newsletter and attend our events are as passionate about the importance of faith, belief and cultural issues in Plymouth and across the South West as we are and we would like to invite you, if you do not already subscribe to help us sustain this work by becoming a “Friend of PCFCD” for £10/year (£5 unwaged), which will replace the old subscriptions. People who are already subscribing at £7/year may continue to pay this if they do not wish to increase their standing order. There will be further developments for the “Friends of PCFCD” in the near future.
